If the rider does not request a delay the starter may start the event without them.
If the rider is still not ready after the two minute delay they will be excluded from the race.
Starting Line up will be as follows:
Heats:
Determined by sign ups, except for Pros. Pros will draw numbers to determine line up
All riders will get a front row start in the heats
Mains:
In order to participate in a Main the rider must start in the heat race.
Line up will be determined by finishing order in the heats.
If more than one heat, the heat races will be combined and line up will be based on that.
Once all riders are lined up and positioned the starter will walk to the starter box, from there the starter will begin the race. Starting methods can be flags or lights.
Any rider whose bike crosses the front line prior to the start will be moved to the last empty row to start from there.
The rider will start from this position on any future restarts, with the exception of staggered restarts.
All starts must be standing starts with both wheels on the ground
Restarts:
Any race stopped with one lap or fewer completed would be a complete restart.
A rider that is determined to be the cause of the restart will be sent to the penalty line (last empty row)
If the race is stopped after at least one lap completed, it will be a staggered restart.
Starting position will be determined by the rider's position on the last completed lap.
The leader will pick their starting position- The next rider in line will start to the leaders outside, if possible. If not possible that rider will be moved to the inside. The bikes will be approximately 3 feet over with the front wheel approximately 1 foot behind the rear wheel of the rider in front of them
This procedure will continue until all positions have been lined up.
If the race is stopped after at least 60% of the laps completed, it can be considered a completed event.
Riders will be scored according to their position on the lap prior.
In the event of a red flag riders must return their motorcycle to the hot box area. Any rider that returns to the pit area will be disqualified.
Any rider that works on their motorcycle during a red flag will be sent to the penalty line
If the race is stopped due to down riders, the first downed rider will be placed last in the restart, the last rider down will line up behind the last rider that did not fall.
During the race:
If a rider's bike breaks before reaching the finish line they may push their bike across the finish line to be considered as having completed the race.
Rider on the inside line assumes responsibility if a crash happens. If you are being passed on the inside- you MUST hold your current line.
If the rider is passing on the outside the rider is responsible to not move to the inside line unless there is space to complete the pass without causing an incident.
